Mid-Summer Night’s Update

Mid-Summer Night’s Update

It’s been a minute since I posted something and it’s definitely about that time! “Strains: Variety Pack EP 2” is inching it’s way across that finish line to release glory, meanwhile EP 3 is already written and in the tweaking stages. So the songs aren’t finalized, but i have a good chunk of material ready. In the meantime, it feels wrong not to put out more music.
Firstly, I want to thank everyone for the huge amount of support on my Marshmello – Alone remix. I don’t know what the hell happened, all I know is Marshmello was in town the same weekend that my plays exploded, so maybe thank you misplaced Google search results? Anyway, there will be another official single releasing in August! A little hint, it is one of the many unreleased tracks I’ve been playing as of late, and it was in my set for the Otto Von Schriach show.
Aside from all that, I have a little dark minimal track I’ve been sitting on for a while. I’m thinking, I’ll do what I did with “Dream Queen” and just put it on soundcloud for a few days, but mainly just host it here for free download. I haven’t done many of these minimal house tracks, but I’m glad you guys are ok with me expressing myself, regardless of genre.
In art news, I won’t be doing Art Basel officially, but I may or may not have art featured in a venue. I’ll keep you guys posted on that. Also, my homie madSavvy and I have some surprises. You should have heard by now that we have a project together called “Native Method” since we recently put out a little track named 地下 (Chika). The inspiration was from us working on our new EP called “Freeze And Flatten” and of course, the underground level in Mario Bros. World 1-2.

Shortly after “Strains: Variety Pack EP 2“, Native Method will release “Freeze And Flatten” through Strange Media, along with a new solo EP from madSavvy called “World’s Apart” and as you will see below, it is definitely space bass at its finest.
